SoHo Teak Patio Sectional Sofa with Sunbrella Cushion

Details at a Glance

Kiln-dried teak and marine-grade stainless steel hardware mean this modular sectional holds up through coastal salt air, desert sun, and months of hard rain without cracking or rusting. The HiTeak SoHo Teak Patio Sectional Sofa with Sunbrella Cushion is available at LOOMLAN Outdoor with free shipping. You're buying a left or right-facing outdoor modular sofa that can be reconfigured as your patio layout changes, with UV-resistant Sunbrella cushions that won't fade after one season.

How Does Kiln-Dried Teak Hold Up Against Rain and Sun?

Kiln-drying removes the moisture that causes untreated wood to warp or crack, so this frame stays dimensionally stable even when wet. Natural teak oils resist rot and insect damage without chemical treatment, and the wood develops a silvery-grey patina over time as UV exposure oxidises the surface. Marine-grade stainless steel hardware won't rust in coastal humidity or salt spray, so the modular connections stay secure season after season. Sunbrella fabric is solution-dyed, meaning the pigment runs through the entire fibre -- UV can't bleach it out the way it would printed or surface-dyed covers.

Do You Have to Bring It Inside for Winter?

The teak frame and stainless steel hardware can stay outside year-round without damage. Storing the Sunbrella cushions indoors during months of freezing rain or heavy snow will extend their lifespan, but they're machine washable and designed to handle weather exposure when you're using the sectional regularly. If you let the teak weather naturally, expect it to turn grey -- that's a surface change only and doesn't compromise strength.

Where Does This Work Best on a Patio or Deck?

The left or right-facing orientation lets you fit the sectional into corner layouts or build an L-shape against a railing, and the modular design means you can add more sections from our outdoor modulars collection as your space grows. Pair it with low-profile side tables and a weather-resistant rug to anchor a conversation area, or mix it with pieces from our outdoor sofas and loveseats range for a less uniform look. The 500 lb weight capacity supports commercial hospitality use, so it's more than strong enough for family gatherings.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does teak need to be oiled?

No -- this sectional arrives with a hand-sanded finish and natural teak oils already present. You can apply teak oil or sealer to maintain the original honey tone, but it's not required for durability.

Will teak turn grey, and can I stop it?

Yes, UV exposure oxidises the surface and turns it silvery grey over months or years. Regular cleaning and teak sealer will slow that patina if you prefer the original color, but the grey is purely cosmetic and doesn't weaken the wood.

Are the cushions water resistant?

Sunbrella fabric is water-repellent and dries quickly, though heavy sustained rain will eventually soak the foam core. The covers are machine washable and resist mildew growth.

Can the cushion covers be removed and washed?

Yes -- the Sunbrella covers are designed to be machine washed. Air dry them rather than using high heat.

Can this stay outside all year?

The teak frame and stainless steel hardware are built for year-round exposure. Storing cushions indoors during the off-season will keep them fresher longer.

Does this ship assembled, or will I need to put it together?

Standard free curbside delivery brings the sectional to your curb; assembly, setup, and packaging removal are available for an additional fee upon request.
