Brown Concrete Outdoor Bench - Torbay - Luxury Outdoor Living

Details at a Glance

Glass fiber-reinforced concrete anchors a patio or terrace with material that actually holds up to year-round weather -- sun, rain, and temperature shifts that wreck lighter finishes. The SUNPAN Torbay outdoor bench, a 69-inch backless concrete bench with a sealed weathered travertine finish, is available at LOOMLAN Outdoor with free shipping. Cast and handmade in Vietnam, it arrives ready to place -- no assembly, and at 162 pounds, it's not blowing over in a storm.

Will Concrete Hold Up Outside All Year?

This bench is cast from glass fiber-reinforced concrete, which resists the cracking and surface degradation that happens when moisture seeps into ordinary concrete and freezes. The protective sealant adds a layer against staining and water infiltration, so rain rolls off rather than soaking in. UV exposure won't fade the finish the way it does with painted metal or untreated resin, though a cover during the harshest summer months will keep the color deepest longest. Concrete doesn't rust, warp, or rot -- it's built for permanence in outdoor environments.

Do You Need to Bring It Inside for Winter?

You can leave this bench outside through winter. The glass-fiber reinforcement and sealant together protect against freeze-thaw cycles that split plain concrete. Wipe it down occasionally to remove dirt and organic debris, and consider a breathable cover if you're in a region with heavy snow or ice for weeks at a stretch -- not to save the material, but to keep the surface cleaner between uses. No oiling, no sanding, no staining. You're not maintaining wood or babying fabric.

Where Does a 69-Inch Concrete Bench Work Best?

This backless design seats multiple people along a dining table on a covered terrace or an open courtyard, and the 22-inch height pairs naturally with standard table heights. Use it as standalone seating near a pool deck or position it in an entryway flanked by planters. Concrete reads sculptural, so it holds its own as a focal piece even when empty. Pair it with pieces from our outdoor benches collection for matching materials, or contrast it with lighter outdoor accent chairs for flexible seating. It also anchors a modern look alongside outdoor wall art.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can this bench stay outside all year?

Yes. The glass fiber-reinforced concrete and protective sealant resist freeze-thaw cycles, moisture infiltration, and UV exposure, so it can remain outdoors year-round.

Will the finish fade in direct sun?

The sealed concrete resists UV fading far better than painted metal or plastic. A cover during peak summer sun will preserve the deepest color longest, but it's not required.

Is this suitable for a coastal or salt-air location?

Concrete doesn't corrode, so salt air won't rust it the way it does steel or aluminum hardware. The sealed surface sheds moisture, which helps in humid coastal climates.

How do I clean concrete outdoor furniture?

Wipe it down with a damp cloth and mild soap to remove dirt and organic debris. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could wear down the protective sealant over time.

Does it arrive fully assembled?

Yes. It arrives as a single cast piece, ready to place. No tools, no assembly.

Is shipping included?

Free standard curbside delivery to the continental USA is included. White-glove services are available for an additional fee upon request.
