The SUNPAN Delmont bar table stands 40 inches tall on a 34-inch-square top, available at LOOMLAN Outdoor with free shipping. Handmade variations in the faux travertine finish mean each piece differs slightly in color and texture.

How Well Does Glass Fiber-Reinforced Concrete Hold Up Outdoors?

Glass fiber strands woven through the concrete add impact resistance and reduce the hairline cracks that plain concrete develops when exposed to freeze-thaw cycles. The sealed topcoat resists water penetration, preventing staining and slowing moisture damage in humid or rainy climates. Powder-coated galvanized steel adds a second layer of corrosion defense on the base, so rust won't streak the concrete after a summer of thunderstorms. Direct sun won't fade the white finish the way it degrades paint on resin or plastic tables, though you'll see natural weathering in the concrete surface over time -- that's the material aging, not failing.

Do You Have to Bring It Inside for Winter?

You can leave it on a covered patio through most winters, though applying a protective cover during extreme cold or wet stretches prolongs the sealed finish. The manufacturer recommends storing it inside during the coldest months if you live where temperatures drop below freezing repeatedly -- concrete can crack if water gets into microscopic pores and freezes. Wipe the top with a damp cloth after dusty weather and before covering it, since grit trapped under a cover acts like sandpaper on the sealant when wind rattles the fabric.

Where Does This Work Best on a Patio or Deck?

A 40-inch bar height table anchors a covered patio beside outdoor bar stools, creating a standing-height gathering spot that doesn't need a full dining setup. The 34-inch-square footprint fits small apartment balconies or gets clustered in threes on a restaurant courtyard for flexible seating. Pair it with a few outdoor bistro tables to layer heights across a deck, or use it as a high focal point near outdoor coffee tables when you're designing zones in a larger space.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can this stay outside all year?

You can leave it on a covered patio year-round in mild climates, but the manufacturer recommends storing it inside during extended freezes to prevent moisture trapped in the concrete from cracking when it expands.

Will the finish fade in direct sun?

Sealed concrete won't fade the way paint or resin does, though you'll see natural weathering -- slight color shifts and surface texture changes -- over multiple seasons of UV exposure.

Is it suitable for a coastal or salt-air location?

The powder-coated galvanized steel base resists corrosion in salt air better than bare metal, and the sealed concrete top won't rust, though rinsing it after ocean spray reaches the patio helps the sealant last longer.

How tall is a bar height table?

Bar height tables stand 40-42 inches tall; the Delmont measures exactly 40 inches and pairs with bar stools 28-30 inches high.

How do I clean a concrete bar table?

Wipe the top with a damp cloth and let it air-dry -- don't use acid-based cleaners or abrasive pads, since they can wear through the sealant faster than weather does.

Does this ship fully assembled?

Free curbside delivery to the continental USA is included; assembly is required, and white-glove setup is available on request for an additional fee.

Need help matching a material to your climate?
